Hathazari field exercise claims lives of two army personnel

Two Bangladesh Army personnel were killed and an officer was seriously injured in an accident during a field firing exercise in Hathazari, Chattogram, on Wednesday.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the accident occurred at the Hathazari field firing range while a tank was conducting shelling.

The injured officer was being airlifted to the Combined Military Hospital in Dhaka for treatment.

ISPR said necessary measures have been taken to investigate the cause of the accident.
