Putin Congratulates Newly Elected Bangladesh President Mirza Fakhrul

Russian President Vladimir Putin has congratulated newly elected Bangladesh President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, wishing him success in his service to the people of Bangladesh.

According to the Russian Embassy in Dhaka, Putin conveyed his best wishes to Mirza Fakhrul following his election as President of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.

In his message, the Russian president wished his Bangladeshi counterpart good health, well-being and success in his future endeavours for the benefit of the people of Bangladesh.

Putin’s message highlights the longstanding friendly ties between Bangladesh and Russia.
